Why The Headshot Xperience
After 20 years behind the camera, I kept running into the same problem from the other side of the industry: the education available to photographers who want to learn headshots — or make it their whole business — hasn't kept up with how the work actually looks today. Most of it was written years ago, for a market that doesn't really exist anymore.
I started The Headshot Xperience to close that gap. LA is where most headshot trends start before they show up anywhere else, and I wanted to build the kind of education I wish I'd had earlier in my own career — real technique, real client psychology, and real business skills, taught by someone still actively doing the work, not teaching from memory of how it used to be done. It's built to keep evolving the way this industry does, so the people learning from it never have to catch up the way I watched so many photographers around me struggle to.
